CHECK MY FEEDBACK, I DON’T PLAY THOSE GAMES. OK, SO THIS WHOLE LOT CAME FROM ONE ESTATE….. THE DAGGER IS 100% UNTOUCHED AS FAR AS CLEANING OR RESTORATION, WHILE LOOKING AROUND GOOGLE ALMOST EVERYONE LOOKS LIKE IT WAS POLISHED TO DEATH TO MAKE LOOK PRETTY…… THIS ONE SHOWS ITS NATURAL AGE, I WILL LEAVE CLEANING TO THE NEW OWNER IF THEY CHOOSE TOO DO THAT….. THE MAKE NAME ON THE DAGGER IS : GEBRUDER HELLER SCHMALKALDEN… HAS A ANCHOR SYMBOL AS WELL. THE LEATHER TAB HAS WHAT LOOKS LIKE A PERSONS NAME…… THE SCABBARD SHOWS BLACK PAINT LOSS, MOSTLY ON THE ONE SIDE….. I DID NOT UNDO THE LEATHER STRAP , I SEE GREENISH/TARNISH OR WHATEVER THAT MAY BE….. AGAIN , I DID NOT CLEAN. THE SHADOW BOX LOOKS LIKE IT WAS MADE UP IN RECENT YEARS…. PICS LOOKS SHRUNKEN , LIKELY FROM ORIGINALS….. THE PATCHES AND MEDAL ARE AUTHENTIC WW2….. THE DOG TAG IS ORIGINAL AND MATCHES THE NAME ON THE OLD 1945 PAPERWORK….. THERE ARE SOME RIBBONS/MEDALS TOO…. AT SOME POINT IN 1964 , LIKELY THE VET SAVED A ARTICLE ABOUT THE BATTLE OF THE BULGE AND HAND WROTE ” HOW ABOUT THIS SOME 20 YEARS LATER ” THE NEWSPAPER IS DATED DECEMBER 10, 1964…. AND IT IS THE KENOSHA NEWS…. ASSUMING IT HAD TO DO WITH HIS SERVICE. PLEASE STUDY/BLOW UP ON ALL THE PHOTOS…… HAPPY TO SEND MORE PHOTOS IF NEEDED AS I CAN ONLY POST 12 HERE. Here we have a Fantastic Very Scarce Pre WW2 Finnish Air Force Pilots Medal Badge Log Books Set, A very interesting and scarce early complete pre WW2 Finnish air force group to pilot Leut Eero Viljo Thulin / Tulosmaa who was from Ylöjärvi near Tampere. He was born in 1907 and joined the Finnish airforce in 1928 at 21 advancing from Sergeant to Lieutenant. He flew training and mainly reconaissance operations in many aircraft most often in the Blackburn Ripon but also in the VL Sääski and VL Tuisku and often flying at night.
