WW2 Soviet Russian USSR Order Of The Red Star Medal. Sterling. 794941. M56

For sale here is a great looking WW2 Russian Order Of The Red Star. The Order is complete with screwback disc. The Order is in excellent condition with only a bit of almost unnoticeable damage at the very tip of the 9 0′ clock arm of the star. The badge has a dark patina and a great overall look. The disc has a bit of wobble at the top of the post, but smooths out as it goes down. The back of the star is marked with a maker mark and has an early six digit serial number of 794941. US WW2 USMC Marine Corps Uniform Coat Jacket 3rd Air Wing Medals Named. Sterling

For sale here is a good looking named US WW2 USMC 3rd Air Wing Alpha Uniform. The uniform is made of fine forest green wool and features a four pocket front, four button front, and epaulettes. All buttons are present and are bakelite. The jacket is missing its belt and there are two or three moth bites on the back and a couple more on the front. Each sleeve features a wool felt Privates Chevron. The left shoulder features a standard 3rd USMC Air Wing patch. There is a Ruptured Duck patch over the right breast pocket. Both EGAs are present and are matched, unmarked, and appear to be steel. Over the left breast pocket there is a four place ribbon bar that includes a pin back air medal that includes a 2 device. Below the bar is a clutch back unmarked expert rifleman badge and a clutch back unmarked bayonet qualification badge. Above the bar is a sterling pin back air crew badge. Inside, the coat shows some wear and a few more moth nips. In the right sleeve the coat appears to be named to S. In the left shoulder, the coat has another name of Phillips with serial numbers. The coat is also marked 6 and 3-S and is dated 1942-43. This is a great coat that will display well. Armpit to armpit: 18. Top to bottom: 30.5. WW2 Nice 4th 5th Class ORDER of GOLDEN KITE MEDAL STERLING SILVER JAPANESE JAPAN

T his is a very good example of the Order of the Golden Kite 4th/5th Class Medal. Note that while the case and loose rosette are 100% original 4th Class items, the medal itself is probably a 5th Class still a highly desirable piece! The only difference between these classes was a gilt wash, and this medal has none. The gilt may have completely faded–I have seen that happen–but for the sake of clarity I must assume it is a 5th Class. Awarded for distinguished military service and/or deeds. There is some slight wear to the enamel, but overall it looks great. In addition, one of the reverse rivets is missing. Original lacquered wood case of issue. PLEASE CHECK PHOTOS FOR CONDITION! Wear and tear evident. Check out Dai Nippon Military Antiques medal website! There is an extra charge, though. I pack well to reduce the chance of damage, but sometimes the boxes are handled roughly.
