RARE Collection 16 USSR WW2 Military Service Medals Certifications Ukraine Pins

RARE Collection of 16 USSR Medals / Awards with Certificates. These were awarded mostly when L. Kuchma was the president (of Ukraine). These are vintage Military Service Medals Certifications Document Pins. The medals commemorate events such as “20 Years after the Victory in the Great Patriotic War” (20 years after the War over the Nazis, or 1965), or types of military or civil service. Got these in Ukraine or Crimea somewhere in the early 2000′s. May have been Zaporozhe. There are a couple of Marshall Zhukov (of WW2 fame) medals. These are not medals awarded during WW2, they are anniversary of WW2 medals, for Veterans. One certificate without a Medal, and one Medal without a certificate.

Order of the Red Star and Combat Service Medal. The awards themselves are original and authentic; however the serial number of the Red Star has been altered, and the Combat Service Medal was originally an unnumbered piece that has had an illegitimate serial number added. Excellent pieces for display, especially on a uniform! Condition is as seen in the images! There is also a small enamel chip on the Red Star that is not easily visible in the scan. Based on serial number reference it appears to have been issued towards the 2nd half of 1944. 1 x Original WW2 Soviet / USSR Medal for Combat Merit / Service with serial number. Based on serial number reference it appears to have been issued towards the 1st half of 1943. As seen in pictures. Note: Please note the condition of each medal. Afghanistan, Medal for Valor, 1980s. German silver; 37.1 mm wide; weighs 21.6 g not including the suspension and connecting link. The design is reminiscent of the Soviet Valor Medal, with a modern Soviet tank and jets flying overhead. Very nicely detailed tank and rocky terrain. In outstanding, excellent condition. The details are perfect. The original brilliant mint luster is beautifully preserved on both sides. Comes with a scarce original regulation ribbon which shows evidence of age and use but is still very well-preserved. Established in 1980, this medal was awarded for bravery on the battlefield to both Afghan and Soviet servicemen.
