This lot was acquired locally and fresh to the market! Pte Baxter served for the 2nd, 4th and 9th Border Regiment and finally the Chindits. A great lot, that still needs researched. Can also be collected from our antiques shop in Workington, Cumbria (cash on collection). Feedback says it all really. A very nice set. Both PHs are serial numbered. The lower number one is missing the pin as it was glued to a plaque it appears. Sterling NY Conspicuous Service cross, WW2 patches, ribbons, chevrons, buttong, collar tabs. The conspicuous cross was awarded to PFC Joseph Daly of Brooklyn. Military estate WW2 US visor cap acid test hat metal pin Army Officer badge USAF. A rare very scarce Airborne Paratrooper a nd Beach invasion Flag Armband. This type of armband was typically used by U. Paratroopers for example in North Africa (1942), on the D-Day invasion in Normandy (June 1944) and during Operation Market Garden (September 1944). This band was worn for the landing in southern France (September 1944)The armband was fixed to the uniform with a safety pin. Yes, the original safety pin is still attached. Medal Lot 101st Airborne Div. DI Patch Cap Badg WWII Inf WW 2 Uniform Pin ABN

101st Airborne DI Crest Patches Hats Caps WWII Infantry Insignia. This is a WWII Soldiers Grouping. This includes everything you see. I dont know a lot about this as it was a estate sale but it all came together. There is no name that I see but there is a WWII Soldiers Laundry number in one of the caps. After reading on the internet I found that a lot of people are researching using the soldiers laundry number and having great success. This very rare lot includes 1 Soldiers Wounded Medals and 1 Star Medal. The wounded Medal is a nice WWII early sewn Slot Brooch and the same is for the Star Medal. This includes a couple Ribbon Bar. There are 2 — 101st Airborne Patches with one showing signs that it was sewn on at one time. These do not glow under a black light. There is 1 old whistle that is marked with a P shield type logo and USN 1944. There is 1 (set of 2) DI Crest Insignia 101st Airborne Division appear to be late war or early 1950s clutch backs marked Denmark N. There is one Sharp Shooting Qualification Badge with 3 Bars. This is marked Sterling. The top bar is for Rifle and is marked Sterling. The other 2 look like they were added at a later time not marked. There is 1 (set) of 2nd Lieutenant gilt bars pin back, one has some corrosion. There is one DUC Distinguished Unit Citation. There are 2 Infantry officers type Collar insignias. There are 2 overseas Hats with blue piping. One is tan and the other is Dark OD Elastique Garrison type. The Dark one has an Infantry Insignia Device and a Satin lining. This is all used with age. Great named medal given to the survivors of Charles DeLeuze of Carnegie PA, a suburb of Pittsburgh, he was a casualty of WWII, connected to the 63rd Infantry Division and the lot includes the medal which is numbered on edge as shown, government engraved, a gold star pin, ribbon bar, patch from the 63rd removed from a scrapbook, and some internet info, this being a nice patched photo of him, info on him from a local researcher, photo of his grave in Arlington I THINK! , not out of a collection, from a PA estate lot when I lived in Pittsburgh. USMC WW1 6th MG Battalion Patch and Medal Grouping with Certificates rare

The GCM is named to Eugene Mathews who was with the 77th Company 6th MG Battalion. The Haitian Medal is numbered #1602. The Patches are in excellent shape. I believe the darker one is a painted post was patch, and the lighter purple one is obviously an original war time patch. The certificates are not in the best shape but frame-able. The 6th MG Battalion certificate is as rare as they come. There are not always out there to get. Anyway what you see is what you get. The wooden case is includes and the certificates with be mailed in a durable plastic sleeve. Please look at the pictures and ask questions. This was in my dads stuff. He was in the navy 1942 till 1959 there is a red wool arm band with a black (you know what) inside of a white.
