Up for sale is this US Armed Forces Legion of Merit Medal. The medal comes in the box with ribbon bar and a lapel device. The medal is named to Frederick C. I was told he was a Viet Nam veteran. Condition is as found on local estate sale. Some results of my research shows that Col. Frederick “Fritz” Hastings Jr. Passed away in San Benito, TX in 2005 at the age of 73. Up for your consideration we have a rare WWII era collection of a named airman. The collection includes the following items. Rare national order of the Andean Condor, Grand Cross Medal. Two wings, 1 is sterling/globe the other has Talon/lightning bolts. Sterling wings/propeller and other pins. Please review all photos for condition, Ref #10511 BOF. With all jewelry with stones, stones sizes and amounts are figured by calculation. (for an accurate total, you would have to remove the stones from the settings) During measurements there is some degree of calculation, so it is an approximation. In regards to our time pieces watches, clocks etc. We verify the condition when they leave our office and will be stated as working or not working. All working watches may still need to be professionally cleaned/serviced in order to keep time accurately. Each of our time pieces are vintage and used to a different degree. These items are special to me because they came from one of my mentors. Do not miss this once in a lifetime chance to own a true piece of American history. Up for consideration we have this very rare, World War 2 named & dated Air Base instructor’s sterling silver wings along with his Military Merit medal and Meritorious Service medal. All pieces have his name. Wings engraved with his name, air base, and date- Earl J Wolf Jr Altus OK 5-24-43. From what I can find about these, less than 50 known, they were given to the instructors.
