1914 Iron Cross 1st class in a deep blue leather case. Three piece brass construction with silver plate which has rubbed from wear. Made for naval awards by Juncker as shown on label on case bottom. Three piece construction with correct specs brass frame silver plated to prevent rust in salt air. Screw backing plate is maker marked as shown. L12 is stamped in the plate. The silver plate shows it’s age in oxidation and wear from being exposed. A very high quality award from a well known maker. Not sure of age but it’s made for a veteran and appears well worn but well cared for. A true navy award. Please view photos carefully for condition.
Here we are offering. A German Eastern People’s Award 1st Class in gilt With Swords, for bravery. The award though unmarked, is believed to be manufactured by the firm of 100 as it has the classic hinge and hook of this maker. This example along with many others, was picked up in the Reichschancellery at the end of the war, by a British servicemen. These awards rated higher than the Iron Cross 1st class. It was reissued in 1957 by the Bundeswehr for veterans. Recipients had to have the lower grade of the award before getting the next level. Knights Crosses, Iron Crosses, Wound Badges, Tank Assault Badges etc were re-designed by Steinhauer & Lück – often with the oak-leaf spray replacing the swastika, with S&L having the sole patent rights to all WW2 1957 German decorations.
World war 2 imperial japanese badge. Offering a genuine World War II era Japanese Order of the Sacred Crown, 8th Class medal. This prestigious decoration, also known as “Hokansho”, has a rich history. Exclusively bestowed upon women for their distinguished services. This order ranks equivalently with the Order of the Rising Sun. Features a golden headdress, symbolic of the one worn by the Empress during the Spring Festival. The medallion is surrounded by an oval ring with seed pearls, bamboo branches on a red backdrop, and cherry blossoms. The sash is watered, yellow with red stripes.
