Original M40 German Helmet with Unique Camo Steel Bands permanently bolted to helmet, along with Liner & Chin Strap. Helmet has a stamped Lot# Hard to read & looks like the #’s are? & stamped size# (Hard to read & looks like 66) having great Patina. The Unique steel Bands are permanently connected by bolt through the top of the helmet & ends are folded securely on inside of helmet, but show no signs of being used due to no scratches on adjacent paint near band loops that would hold branches, greenery, etc to blend in with surroundings, basically creating coverage from being seen by the enemy in war time.
