World War 2 US AIR FORCE Bomber Pilot Commander Collection Medals Hat Flight Log. World War 2 US AIR FORCE Bomber Pilot Commander Collection (Medals Hat & Flight Logs). Flight Logs are classified photocopies of the original target flight logs, which i assume the originals belong to the US Army. All 3 copies are the same. Comes with Consolidated Liberator certification award, original photograph of the B-24 Bomber, Original Hat with a block of wood housing various Pins and Medals (4 rank ribbon pins, one likely silver leaf pin, and 4 air force pins, one is broken). Included with an article and related paper stuff. These artifacts belonged to Captain Robert Moriarty of the 745th Bomb Squadron, of the 456 Bomb Group. The artifacts were dated around the summer of 1944 in Stornara Italy. Many of the goods i sell are vintage and antique, please note when stuff gets old it becomes more fragile and delicate. The medal was valuable and in good condition. I found the stamp 800 on the Pour le Merite. The medal was found in a old bakelit case. The case is very nice and included. The award is used and old and not damage on it. The hard enamel is very nice. The medal looks antique and was made from a old German prussia jeweler!! Very amazing badge in real antique condition. This is a Handmade silver 1943 Walking Liberty silver half dollar coin ring that I joined to an original sterling silver Bomber pin. Both pin and coin are from the World War 2 era. It is an awesome looking ring and it measures out to a size 10.5. The coin holds a lot of detail and it carries over into the ring. One of a kind and hand made by me. For soldiers during Wartime, exchanging letters and mementos kept them connected with the home front and strengthened bonds with friends and loved ones back in the States. WW2 Korea P-38 & B-26 Pilot Group Named Air Medal Wings Sterling & CBI Made More

A very nice group from a pilot who flew P-38 Lightings in WWII and flew the B-26 Invader night bomber in Korea. This group has some limited research included. During WWII he served in the CBI China Burma India and acquired 2 local made bullion wings. They are gorgeous with very little wear and bright patina. The pilot and Command Pilot wings are both sterling. The slotted brooch Air Medal has the official US engraving from the Korean War and includes the box. There are 4 dog tags including his 2 next of kin. All other insignia in the pictures are included. E, they are not perfect items. I do however try my best to research each an every item I find and give the best description listing possible. I treat you the customer the same way I would want and expect to be treated. Named Ww2 DFC Award Class A Jacket Army Air Corps Major Mark Fredson. From Washington state, this officer had a lot of time in the war. 4 Pacific battle stars, DFC, I have not put in for his records but shouldnt be a problem getting them. Lovely jacket, overall good condition. Lining in the center has come unstitched but not very noticeable as shown in photos. WW2 ROYAL AIR FORCE MEDAL GROUP AWARDED TO SPITFIRE PILOT CLIFFORD JOHN DIBDEN, 92 SQUADRON. CLIFFORD JOHN DIBDEN WAS BORN 23/2/1917 IN CHEPSTOW, MONMOUTHSHIRE. IN MARCH 1939 CLIFFORD JOINED THE GLOUCESTERSHIRE CONSTABULARY AS A POLICE CONSTABLE. HE WAS STATIONED AT LYDNEY POLICE STATION IN THE FOREST OF DEAN. CLIFFORD WAS ALSO A VERY GOOD RUGBY PLAYER, HE PLAYED IN THE CENTRE FOR GLOUCESTER AND LYDNEY RUGBY CLUBS. CLIFFORD JOINED THE RAF IN 1943 AND WAS SELECTED FOR A FLYING COURSE IN SOUTH AFRICA, AFTER TRAINING HE WAS ASSIGNED TO 92 SQUADRON WHO FLEW SPITFIRES. 22/1/1944 THE SQUADRON WERE TASKED WITH SUPPORTING BRITISH AND AMERICAN TROOPS AT ANZIO.
