ADDITIONAL PHOTOS & DOCUMENTATION UPON REQUEST. This fantastic opportunity is complete with his original July 1918 (Kanitz) signed Pour le Mérite document which is accompanied by an authentic gilt Wagner Pour le Mérite. Additional items include his personal photo albums, period postcards, numerous photos of him in Luftwaffe service uniform as well as photos of his involvement with postwar Veteran reunions for PLM holders. Jacobs was known to have several examples of the PLM to wear for different occasions. As discussed in Neal O’Connor’s Aviation Awards of Imperial Germany in World War I and the men who earned them, at least two others are known to the collecting community and are published. The cross in this grouping is not one of the two published examples but did arrive to me with his original award document. Also included are his air victory confirmation papers. WW1 German pin cross badge medal bar WWII NAMED Honor Goblet grouping to a pilot. Another original item from. ADDITIONAL PHOTOS & DOCUMENTATION UPON REQUEST. His initials are engraved onto the reverse of two of his awards which makes it all that much more special! The Ehrenpokal (800 silver and hallmarked) includes the award document and all of his badges are with the original award documents as well. We have his three place medal bar and the award documents for the Iron Cross 2nd class and the Hindenburg cross award. To further enhance what all is here is his original flight book and military pass. The Prussian pilot’s badge is a lovely and modified C. Juncker piece produced in silver. The original reverse hardware was lost to time so the piece was modified to be worn on a chain and around the neck; perhaps given as a sweetheart momento. Alfons Langer’s initials are engraved into the reverse of this piece. Next we have his “WS” hallmarked Iron Cross 1st class which also has his initials engraved on the reverse. The commemorative pilot badge is a gorgeous Meybauer piece and the award document for this piece is 1920 dated and essentially states the Government is unable to finance his award due to the crushing defeat and terms laid out within the Versailles treaty and he is instructed to obtain one privately and at his own expense. Served in various units, Inns of Court OTC, RMLI, Royal Naval Air Service, Royal Air Force. Address 66/68 Duke Street, Grosvenor Square, W1, London. Lieutenant, Acting Captain / Pilot, RAF. On 8th Aug 1918 with his Observer, Sergeant l. Murphy, had one confirmed kill of a Pfalz Scout whilst on a DH4 Bombing Raid in France between Rosieres and Chaulnes. Returning from Bomb raid on St. CRIST we dropped height to attack ground targets. A Pfalz scout passed at right angles 200 ft. Below us between Rosieres and Chaulnes. Observer fire two double-drums into E. Which dived down very steeply and crashed, bursting into flames on hitting the ground. Flew Sopwith Triplanes, Sopwith Camels and DH4s. He Served in 205 Squadron. Distinguished Flying Cross awarded L. In October 1932 he married Phyllis Brookes at Kensington. World War 2 US AIR FORCE Bomber Pilot Commander Collection Medals Hat Flight Log. World War 2 US AIR FORCE Bomber Pilot Commander Collection (Medals Hat & Flight Logs). Flight Logs are classified photocopies of the original target flight logs, which i assume the originals belong to the US Army. All 3 copies are the same. Comes with Consolidated Liberator certification award, original photograph of the B-24 Bomber, Original Hat with a block of wood housing various Pins and Medals (4 rank ribbon pins, one likely silver leaf pin, and 4 air force pins, one is broken). Included with an article and related paper stuff. These artifacts belonged to Captain Robert Moriarty of the 745th Bomb Squadron, of the 456 Bomb Group. The artifacts were dated around the summer of 1944 in Stornara Italy. Many of the goods i sell are vintage and antique, please note when stuff gets old it becomes more fragile and delicate. The medal was valuable and in good condition. I found the stamp 800 on the Pour le Merite. The medal was found in a old bakelit case. The case is very nice and included. The award is used and old and not damage on it. The hard enamel is very nice. The medal looks antique and was made from a old German prussia jeweler!! Very amazing badge in real antique condition. This is a Handmade silver 1943 Walking Liberty silver half dollar coin ring that I joined to an original sterling silver Bomber pin. Both pin and coin are from the World War 2 era. It is an awesome looking ring and it measures out to a size 10.5. The coin holds a lot of detail and it carries over into the ring. One of a kind and hand made by me. For soldiers during Wartime, exchanging letters and mementos kept them connected with the home front and strengthened bonds with friends and loved ones back in the States. WW2 Korea P-38 & B-26 Pilot Group Named Air Medal Wings Sterling & CBI Made More

A very nice group from a pilot who flew P-38 Lightings in WWII and flew the B-26 Invader night bomber in Korea. This group has some limited research included. During WWII he served in the CBI China Burma India and acquired 2 local made bullion wings. They are gorgeous with very little wear and bright patina. The pilot and Command Pilot wings are both sterling. The slotted brooch Air Medal has the official US engraving from the Korean War and includes the box. There are 4 dog tags including his 2 next of kin. All other insignia in the pictures are included. E, they are not perfect items. I do however try my best to research each an every item I find and give the best description listing possible. I treat you the customer the same way I would want and expect to be treated. Named Ww2 DFC Award Class A Jacket Army Air Corps Major Mark Fredson. From Washington state, this officer had a lot of time in the war. 4 Pacific battle stars, DFC, I have not put in for his records but shouldnt be a problem getting them. Lovely jacket, overall good condition. Lining in the center has come unstitched but not very noticeable as shown in photos.
