Employed as a Clerk and living at 381 Columbus Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts, he attested for the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force at Montreal on 23 October 1917. He served overseas in the 13th Battalion Canadian Infantry. He or a person of the same name was awarded the Canadian Forces Decoration as a Trooper in the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps in January 1954. Worthy of further research.
