EXCELLENT MINUS CONDITION with most of the original finish present. 1903 Coast Artillery 1st Class Gunner badge. Stamped on the reverse of the clasp to 87 CO COAST ARTILLERY / No 14. (This company was assigned to Fort Slocumb, New York at this time). Measures approximately 1 9/16 across at the suspension. There are some knocks and dark areas across the top of the suspension bar and a lot of scratching to the silver emblem. Some scuffs to the high points and tarnish at that point. Otherwise excellent minus condition. This is a hobby not a living, so I try to keep it fun, otherwise why do it. This badge was introduced in 1903 and discontinued in 1909.
