Dealer quality display case constructed from a high strength aluminium. Extruded aluminium side panels formed and riveted onto a rigid hard board backing. Aluminium framed lid with 1/8 tempered safety glass and continuous piano hinge rivited to the side panel. The glass is secured in its frame by a flexable rubber gasket. Lockable with two individual keys. Support arms to keep the lid elevated helps with security giving you access but not your customer. Available in two great sizes! Vintage WW2 Military Pull Chain Rosary in Case Stars Stripes Medal Bullet Shrine

Vintage WW2 Military Pull Chain Rosary, Medal, and Pocket Shrine in Case. Another piece out of an estate of military and religious collectibles, uncleaned, as found, original and old. Terrific all metal rosary case, 3 wide, with a large, raised Miraculous Medal on the lid. Opens via center catch, hinged, has simple felt lining. Case has age appropriate wear as shown, hinge and catch work perfectly, marked on bottom MADE IN USA. Contains soldiers pull chain rosary, medal, and a pocket shrine with Saint statue. WWII era military rosary of brass ball beads with remnants of the original silverwash still present on most and worn off in some places as shown, particularly to back of the cross, typical for rugged use in harsh conditions. Has the traditional military rosary centerpiece of The Sorrowful Mother on front and Christ Carrying the Cross on reverse. Excellent crucifix with the letters INRI placed inside each of the cross tips instead of the usual attached scroll which may have caught on the soldiers clothing; everything about these rosaries was made with the needs of a soldier in mind. Measures 16 1/4 laid out. Bullet case pocket shrine in brass with plated solid metal 1 figure of St. Shrine pulls apart to release or store the statuette. Saint Joseph is a protector, provider, and the Patron Saint for a Blessed Death, often carried by soldiers on their person. Figure is solid, nicely detailed on both sides and can be freestanding. Last piece is a really nice silverplated holy medal with enameled red, white & blue Stars and Stripes shield. Below are tiny images of the Scapular and Miraculous Medals (which are continued on the back with the usual insignia). Both plating and enameling are in very good condition for age, measures 1 long including the cast bale and has very nice details. Awesome set of personal religious items with the unique character and patina from natural aging and use in the challenging conditions of wartime. FROM A SMOKE FREE, PET FREE COLLECTION. Offered is an original and rare Medal of the Order of the British Empire (Military), a rare award, in which only 2,014 people were award, 800 of whom were from foreign countries, between 1917 and 1922. The medal obverse shows a seated figure of Britannia facing right, her left arm extended and her right holding a trident, with the inscription FOR GOD AND THE EMPIRE round the upper part of the circumference. The reverse depicts the royal and imperial cypher GRI surmounted by a Tudor crown, the whole enclosed in a cable circle. Un-named as issued, in exceptionally fine condition, with unmounted original ribbon, in the original gilt embossed John Pinches of London, fitted case, showing the embossed’M’ denoting this (and the ribbon) as a military issue award. The Medal of the Order of the British Empire was established in June 1917, along with the Order of the British Empire of which it was a part, and could be awarded for either meritorious service or for gallantry. It was awarded to 2,014 people, 800 of whom were from foreign countries, with the award of the Military Division introduced in December 1918. Pour le Merite and pilot badge with. Two medals of honor and a photo of the bearer. More photos in this discription!!! These very beautiful medals were exhibited in a museum. These are high-quality and extremely beautiful medals from the 1st World War. The Pour le Merite is heavy and has been enamelled. It has signs of use and was exhibited in a showcase together with the case for many years. These medals come from a soldiers’association / reservists’ association who collected the medals after the war and exhibited them in an aviator exhibition during the First World War. The pilot badge is very nicely made. Unfortunately the needle broke off, but the badge is still in good condition. The case is a Juncker case that is still in good condition. The portrait photo is from the brave German pilot Leutnant Bongartz. Leutnant Bogartz was a bearer of the highest medal Pour le Merite. In our opinion, the Pour le Merite is not a medal that was awarded personally, but a high-quality product for the family of the soldier and the honorable soldiers’ associations.
