Boxed Set of 5 Medals addressed to Mr. Hallatt with accompanying Presentation slip. The 1939 – 1945 War Medal with ribbon. The Defence Medal with ribbon. The 1939 -1945 Star with ribbon (Battle of Britain).
A good early ATS medal group of three in their original issue box + envelopes & ribbons together with the medal certificate. The issue box from ATS Records. Early entrant 1938 and also with a France & Germany Star indicating service in that area after D-Day, 1944. SEE same ATS Service womans scrap book also listed with details etc including 1938 /1939 training camp details when the ATS was first established. Known as the W. (Womens Auxilliary Territorial Service) in 1938.
Norway: WW2 King Haakon VII’s Freedom. Medal, 1940 – 1945. On the obverse: the crowned cypher of King. Haakon VII over the letter “V” (for Victory). Inscribed “Alt For Norge” Everything for. The medal was instituted in 1945 and was. Awarded to both Norwegian and Foreign. Citizens who provided services to Norway. Was also issued in 1980. I have not cleaned the medal.
