Rare German Gas Mask Assembly with it’s Original Box. The Adjustable Gas Mask has stamps on lens, also an Eagle Inspection stamp. Original Box has a impression stamped front, along with it’s Original German owner hand written signature on front also. Has it’s Original Instructions paperwork. Please see pictures for details. Nice Rare (Hard to find these in this Great of Condition, having Eagle Inspection stamp, along with it’s Original stamped Box with it’s Original instructions paperwork) Complete Original Gas Mask Assembly for that Historical, Military Collector. Size: Adjustable fastening strap & Box is 11 1/2″ x 8″ x 2 1/2. Condition: Very Good to Excellent Condition Shows very little wear. An original World War Two medal grouping comprising the 1939/45 Star, Pacific Star, Burma Star, Defence Medal and 1939/45 War Medal. World War Two medals unnamed as issued. Correctly named to; Chf. Finally, the Royal Air Force Long Service and Good Conduct Medal correctly named to 1371685 Cpl. Court mounted for display. His service number denotes he enlisted in August 1940 in Edinburgh. Note the impossible combination of Pacific and Burma Stars. I understand from the vendor that whilst the Pacific Star is Russell’s the Burma Star is a representation added to the group for the display and whilst being original, was not issued to him. Original World War 1 Sterling Silver Full Size Military Cross. Ornate silver cross with straight arms terminating in broad finials, suspended from plain suspension bar. Obverse decorated with imperial crowns, with a Royal Cipher to centre, silk water fleck ribbon, missing its pin back attachment. The Military Cross (MC) is the third-level military decoration awarded to officers and (since 1993) other ranks of the British Armed Forces and used to be awarded to officers of other Commonwealth countries. The MC is granted in recognition of “an act or acts of exemplary gallantry during active operations against the enemy on land to all members, of any rank in Our Armed Forces” In 1979, the Queen approved a proposal that a number of awards, including the Military Cross, could be awarded posthumously. The Military Cross is two awards away from the Victoria Cross which is the highest award one can get in the British Military. Original WW1 Military Medal (MM), CS Major, West Riding, MID, MSM and 3x Wounded

An original World War 1 Military Medal (MM), with length of original ribbon, named correctly to; 3-8803 Sjt: J. Was born at Burton-in-Kendall, Westmorland, on 17 August 1874, and enlisted into the Scots Guards in December 1894. He served with the 1st Battalion in South Africa and received the Queens medal with 5 clasps. After completing his 7 years with the Colours and 5 years in the reserve, he joined the 3rd Battalion West Riding Regiment as a territorial on 2 August 1907. He was mobilised in August 1914 and posted to the 2nd Battalion which he joined in France on 8 September 1914. He was wounded in November 1914, and again in March and September 1915. He was discharged sick and wounded on 28 September 1916, was awarded the Silver War Badge No. 780 and is entitled to the 1914 Star with clasp, British War and Victory Medals, and the Meritorious Service Medal M. An original World War 1 Military Medal (MM), with length of original ribbon, named correctly to. Edge bruise, nearly very fine. London Gazette 14 May 1919. Harry Tolfree attested for the Middlesex Regiment and served during the Great War on the Western Front from 31 May 1915, subsequently being advanced Company Sergeant Major of the 5th (Special Reserve) Battalion. His Medal Index Card states that he was awarded the M. With the 11th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment; as a Special Reserve Battalion, the 5th Middlesex did not serve overseas.
