The grouping includes his Dress Blues tunic and pants (name on inside pants pocket), several service medals with ribbons, cap EGA insignia w/ matching set of rare, pre-WW2 bronze collar EGA’s, sterling marked marksman badge, ruptured duck insignia and his WW2 Service ID card. A original grouping relating to RAF flight lieutenant Norman Newport. Four full sized medals all named / very finely hand engraved ” F/LT NORMAN NEWPORT 107961 “. Glue mounted over green card [name and ref number written on back]. Post war pre 1954 peaked cap badge with kings crown. A worn item with some heavy age toning to badge metal and bullion detail. Pair of lace on officer shoulder boards with bullion detail of crown over bird and two pieces of gold lace to base , maker by appointment of the king GIEVES LIMITED. 4 large and 5 small RAF tunic buttons in worn condition. Air ministry marked fork. Officers side cap bird with one blade to reverse. Original lot all relating to one mans service.
