On the front is the armored bust of Marianne (the personification of France) facing slightly right, wearing a winged helmet and holding a branch. On the back is a r. Ibbon with the inscription area all set upon branches. This award medal features the iconic engraving of Morlon and a sublime Art Nouveau charm. It has pleasing steel gray surfaces with an alluring matte nature. It is stamped 1ARGENT on the edge indicating 95% Silver. It measures 27 mm in diameter and weighs 10 grams.
