WW2 US/American S1lver Star Medal – KIA Tanker Martin T. Romanik of Reconnaissance Squadron, Company F, 113th Mechanized Cavalry (M5 Stuart tanks) near Isenbruch, Germany on October 2nd, 1944 – Pin/Badge/Award. Romanik enlisted in Greensburg, PA in January of 1943. He won the star for the action in which he was killed. This also means that he wouldve been entitled to the Heart medal. He is buried in Natrona Heights, PA. Also included in the full General Orders in which his entitlement to the star can be found (only page included in pictures is the one showing Romanik) as well as all research shown in pictures.
