Pre WW2 Navy Good Conduct/ UDC Medal Grouping Career Navy Man Engraved Named and dated. This is a very unqiue little set of medal dating early 1920s-WW2. This set is in need of a lot more research to out it alo together. Present is his Navy GCM 1923 Dated, award bar from 1929 and another award bar from 1938. Also included is his lower number WW2 UDC United Daughters of the Confederacy War service cross number 3775 w dolphin device on ribbon. Also his american defense medal w fleet bar. I very little info on this man other then he served from sometime around 1920 to post ww2. He was enlisted most of his career but gained a commission in ww2 and retired a Lt Commander. He died in 1969 and was buried in Arlington national cemetery. Very nice set with a number of unique and rare pieces. It appears a lot of his first 10 years with the navy were spent at Hampton Roads Station VA with the navy is roll is unknown. Pictures tell the story! Dont miss this one!
