This empire lasted from 1932 to 1945, so medals from here are quite desirable and scarce. This is the 7th Class Order of the Auspicious Clouds Medal. This was originally gilted in gold, and this faded so easily. So to find an example like this one with a lot of the gilt remaining is amazing. Although there are spots of fading and wear, you will be hard pressed to find one better than this. Wear and tear evident. PLEASE CHECK PHOTOS FOR CONDITION! T his is an EXCELLENT example of the Order of the Golden Kite 6th Class Medal, quite scarce. These 6th Class medals are very hard to find, and usually the gilt is faded badly. This one, however, has almost all of the gilt intact. The only portion of this medal that should not be gold are the sword tips, and as you can see these are nicely polished silver. Really a fantastic piece–one that probably could not be upgraded. Original lacquered wood case of issue and original lapel rosette, but both have slight damage. PLEASE CHECK PHOTOS FOR CONDITION!
