T his is an EXCELLENT example of the Order of the Golden Kite 6th Class Medal, quite scarce. These 6th Class medals are very hard to find, and usually the gilt is faded badly. This one, however, has almost all of the gilt intact. The only portion of this medal that should not be gold are the sword tips, and as you can see these are nicely polished silver. Really a fantastic piece–one that probably could not be upgraded. Original lacquered wood case of issue and original lapel rosette, but both have slight damage. PLEASE CHECK PHOTOS FOR CONDITION!
