ORIGINAL 1907 PATTERN UNITED STATES ARMY NATIONAL GUARD PISTOL EXPERT BADGE, PIN-BACK W/ “C” CATCH. The US Army specified the first pistol qualification badges for National Guard troops in 1907. To set them apart from Regular Army badges, the army made them is a gold color that regulations called bronze. At this time the Regular Army did not have any pistol badges. Regulations allowed these bronze badges until 1914 when only the pistol expert remained, and that lasted only one more year. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you!
Fantastic lot of medals. Two of them are from WWII. Those two show wear around edges from age. The other two are newer.. The two expert medals very good condition. Once an order is placed it will not / cannot be cancelled. Listing and template services provided by inkFrog.
