An original WWI 1914 Iron Cross in an original red presentation box for Christmastime. Looks to be an early 1914 piece, finely made by a jeweler. Three piece magnetic construction. Vaulted pin back marked 800 on pin. The details on the core are high quality and the beading is gorgeous. Cross has a beautiful silver blue patina with just a little honest wear to the fine points of the core. A very high quality award from Imperial times. Please view photos carefully for condition.
The Luxembourg Red Cross was founded on the initiative of Grand Duchess Marie-Adélaïde and the instigation of Emile and Aline Mayrisch in August 1914 on the eve of World War I. A very fine example of a rare award.
1914 Iron Cross 1st class in a deep blue leather case. Three piece brass construction with silver plate which has rubbed from wear. Made for naval awards by Juncker as shown on label on case bottom. Three piece construction with correct specs brass frame silver plated to prevent rust in salt air. Screw backing plate is maker marked as shown. L12 is stamped in the plate. The silver plate shows it’s age in oxidation and wear from being exposed. A very high quality award from a well known maker. Not sure of age but it’s made for a veteran and appears well worn but well cared for. A true navy award. Please view photos carefully for condition.

Very nice original estate of rare WW I medals from a brave German front-line soldier in the First World War. The courageous German first corporal fought in the Battle of the Somme and in Champagne during WW I. He received the Pour le Merite for non-commissioned officers in silver. The tape is also original and UV negative. Marker W (Wagner Berlin)on medal. For his courageous fight, the soldier received, in addition to the Pour le Merite for non-commissioned officers in silver, the Iron Cross of the 2nd Class, the Somme Cross as well as the Champagne Cross and the War Participant’s Cross with Swords. The medals are delivered together with the case. These are medals in very good condition. The Pour le Merite has the W stamp in the arm of the cross for Wagner Berlin. The Iron Cross has the maker 4 in the ring and is magnetic and three-part and has a beautiful patina. The band is UB negative. The Somme Cross and Champange Cross are made by Fleck and Sohn Hamburg The ribbon is very beautiful and UV negative. The War Merit Cross swords is made by GHO.
