For your consideration is this exceedingly rare 406th Signal Battalion “The First Battalion” Service Medal named to Hubert Harris. The detail on this medal is fantastic, and they’re made of unmarked Silver. The planchets are thick and the relief is high on this one making the details really pop. It’s attached to a ribbon drape with pocket watch/fob clasp. I’m not certain this was original, and the very few other known examples are not pictured with any medal drape. The medal is in excellent condition as shown, and the drape is starting to deteriorate.
