These medals have some wear from normal use. The ribbon on the Good Conduct Medal is frayed. It is numbered NO. The Mexico Service Medal is numbered 1786 on the rim. A nice historical USMC group. Named uniform to O’Byrnes (one small moth hole on back right shoulder) 2 sets of pants named to O’Byrnes Bell Crown hat. (EGA and side buttons are O’Byrnes) Medals including named and engraved GCM, WW1 Victory, and VFW medals. His war diary for the Dominican Republic Multiple photos of him and Dominican Campaign Cigar box that everything came in. Complete printed Service File included. Lot consists of 3 dogtags (acid etched fingerprint to rear and 1941 dated), general officer rank insignia (pinbacked Hilborn Hamburger marked), colonel’s rank insignia pinbacked “SHOLD-R-FORM marked”, a variety of campaign medal and award ribbon sets and bars, a set of dress collar EGAs (NS Meyer 1/20 10k and “STERLING” marks), two swagger sticks (both with sterling pommel caps one with two stars and his name inscribed “DEWITT PECK” and the other with EGA end cap and sterling tip), his 1937 dated campaign hat with awesome EGA (EGA is HH eagle marked and hat has some chinese writing piece of paper in the band and his name “PECK” inked on the sweatband), a commissioning (1915) or WW1 era photo of him in dress blues with visible hat and collar EGAs in a frame, a brass and wood name plate for when he was in China as a Colonel, a leather case for insignia with his initials DeW. , his WW1 victory medal, his numbered 2nd Nicaraguan Campaign Medal M. 194, and a mini expeditionary medal with numeral “3″.
