This is a fine World War II U. Bronze Star Medal set that is in excellent condition. The planchet is with an unblemished bronze finish to both the obverse and reverse sides. The star is suspended from a crisp, short-draped ribbon. The medal is mounted on the correct WWII style slot broach that is complete with functional pin and roller lock assemblies. The pin back ribbon bar and enameled lapel pin are both present in the case. The black leatherette case is titled, “BRONZE STAR MEDAL” in gold leaf on two lines on the lid and is without damage. It remains a fine-looking example in excellent condition.
