Kennedy died in 1947 and is buried in New York. He is listed as a Cook. Looks like he may have also served in World War I. Therefore he would have been entitled to a WW1 Victory Medal and a WW2 Victory Medal. With one battle star and a Pacific Theater Medal and demobilization in 1944 this would have limited him to Pearl Harbor, Philippine Islands, Burma, Central Pacific, East Indies, Aleution Islands or someother pre-44 battle. No indication of a Bz Battle Star being attached. Three WWII ribbon bars, GCM, ADSM w/Bz Battle Star, and Asiatic-Pacific Theater medal. All three ribbons show signs of use. Asiatic-Pacific ribbon has two small holes in center where star attachment is missing. Medals & Ribbon bars show normal wear/tear associated with age. Medals are loose with no box. They may show minor age related defects. Pinback ribbon bars show age related defects due to wear, Asiactic Pacific ribbon missing small bz star attachment. Document may show minor age related defects including toning, fold lines. Serial number blanked out only in photo. Normal wear and tear associated with age.
