WW2 Japanese Order Of The Golden Kite 5th Class Medal. Beautiful Condition M162

For sale here is a great looking WW2 Japanese Order of the Golden Kite 5th Class. The medal is complete with ribbon. The ribbon does have a bit of separation at the top, but this will be an easy fix. The medal is beautiful. There may be some light surface enamel damage to a couple of the arms, but i can’t say for sure as it would only be surface and doesn’t affect the color. The rest of the medal is gorgeous. This is a great piece! This will make a great addition to any collection. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have. T his is an EXCELLENT example of the Order of the Golden Kite 6th Class Medal, quite scarce. These 6th Class medals are very hard to find, and usually the gilt is faded badly. This one, however, has almost all of the gilt intact. The only portion of this medal that should not be gold are the sword tips, and as you can see these are nicely polished silver. Really a fantastic piece–one that probably could not be upgraded. Original lacquered wood case of issue and original lapel rosette, but both have slight damage. PLEASE CHECK PHOTOS FOR CONDITION! Wear and tear evident. Check out Dai Nippon Military Antiques medal website! There are flaws here and there. Please look at the photos carefully. I pack well to reduce the chance of damage, but sometimes the boxes are handled roughly. The item “BEAUTIFUL GOLD GILT!
