Ww2 imperial Japanese badge. A genuine 1933 medal from Japan commemorating the Civil Defense exercise. Features an image of troops with a Type 96 light machine gun ready for gas warfare, and a fighter plane illuminated by searchlights. This pin-style badge has some signs of wear but no damages. Initially envisioned for disaster mitigation in Tokyo, it expanded under the Army’s influence to primarily prepare for air raids causing large fires. It was dissolved in 1939, succeeded by the Keibodan. Approximate 14-21days(To USA and Europe).
