T his is a very good example of the Order of the Golden Kite 5th Class Medal. Awarded for distinguished military service and/or deeds. There is some slight wear to the enamel, but overall it looks great. In addition, one of the reverse rivets is missing. Original lacquered wood case of issue. PLEASE CHECK PHOTOS FOR CONDITION! Wear and tear evident. Check out Dai Nippon Military Antiques medal website! There is an extra charge, though. I pack well to reduce the chance of damage, but sometimes the boxes are handled roughly. T his is an excellent example of the Order of the Golden Kite 5th Class Medal, quite scarce. There is some slight damage to the enamel, but overall it looks great. All four rivets on reverse are intact, too. Very hard to upgrade this one! Original lacquered wood case of issue, but there is damage to the hinge and a broken latch. The ribbon is original and made from silk and is in fine vintage condition. It dates to the era c. The medal has never been polished and has been under.
