World War One Imperial German Medal Group with a photo of the recipient. The group includes the Iron Cross 1st class marker marked W. To reverse, the Iron Cross 2nd Class ring is marker marked K. And the German Honorary World War Commemorative Medal of the German Legion of Honour. Unfortunately I don’t know who the recipient is but the medals and photos all came together. He appears to be an officer but I’m not sure which regiment he served in. The three medals can be seen being worn on the photo. He is also wearing his Pickelhaube helmet. Unfortunately the ribbons are missing. You can see in the photo he received the gilt oak leaf with swords emblem to his German Legion of Honour medal showing he was a front line soldier. The reverse of the photo has marks in each corner showing where it was at one time in a photo album or frame. Please let me know if you need any additional photos or details. Please see my other listings of British and German medals and militaria. Thanks and kind regards.
