Leonard Schoeck having 1918 San Francisco Depot tag and all original insignia to including a great Wool 35th Div Patch his M1917 helmet having double-painted 35th Division insignia complete with liner & chinstrap; (4) Medal grouping to include his original NAMED & Numbered-PH, Victory medal w/2 bars, 1930 35th Div Reunion medal & VFW Post Commander medal; also comes with his VFW Post #1881 overseas cap. A great well documented grouping – comes with copy of his discharge showing he was Gassed while with Battery A, 128th Field Artillery, 35th Division and with pages of Ancestry paperwork. Schoeck was originally from Kansas and died in Cheyenne, Wyoming May 16th, 1972. 33rd President Harry Truman was a young Field Artillery Officer in this same unit!
