King’s South Africa Medal (Clasps – South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902) – renamed to 3225 Pte. British War Medal – correctly named to 27-7 Sjt. Allan, North’d Fus. WW1 Victory Medal – correctly named to 27-7 Sjt. Khadives Sudan Medal (Clasp – Khartoum) – renamed to 3225 Pte. Allan originally served with the Cameron Highlanders. In the First World War he served with the 27th Bn. (Tyneside Irish) Northumberland Fusiliers and his service number was 7! He was wounded (gun shot wound) on the 1st day of the Somme and evacuated to base 02/07/1916. The WW1 medals are correctly named but unfortunately the Sudan and Boer War medals have all been renamed. All of the medals are genuine and are swing mounted for wear on original ribbons. There is no doubt that these are the medals that Sjt. Allan would have worn. Comes with copy research.
