British India General Service Medal with Northwest Frontier Clasp to Drummer George Duncan Henderson – 2nd Seaforth Highlanders. India General Service 1908-35, 1 clasp, North West Frontier 1930-31 2815224 PTE. Some edge marks, otherwise very fine (1). George Park Duncan Henderson was born in St. Giles, Edinburgh and was a Farm Servant prior to joining the British Army. He enlisted in the Seaforth Highlanders at Glasgow on the 30th May 1924 aged 19. At the time his father lived at East Kilbride. Private Henderson served in India with the 2nd Seaforths on the North West Frontier during the Afridi Redshirt Rebellion. He was discharged on the 2nd May 1933 as a Drummer being no longer physically fit for active service. He died in 1961. Everything I have for sale is 100% original.
