Here is a lovely original MM group to 148849 Gunner Percy Edwin Warriner. Warriner was born in Nottingham, England and was mobilized on the 1st of March 1917. He served in the Royal Garrison Artillery, the 100th Heavy Artillery group. He was also qualified as a Medical Orderly in which capacity he was serving 21 December 1917, when he was cited for gallantry during a crossing of the Auju river near the port city of Jaffa. Group comes with original photos of the recipient in uniform, and a family portrait. Some original documents, and several of Mr. Warriner’s Red Cross Society medals and pins. Also comes with some research, and a short biography of Mr. He also served as an ARP Warden in WW2 and was awarded the Defence medal for his service.
