The cross is neatly engraved 898482 Pte B McFADDEN and in its box exactly as it was found. I had a look on the CWGC site but couldn’t find references to this soldier. ? The riband is a bit creased with age but is undamaged and is in a continuous loop. It is marked STERLING at the bottom and there is some kind of logo next to it? I guess that this it’s original case? – not had one of these crosses before so not sure. It opens and closes fine. Looks barely worn, nicely toned. The item “British Canadian Army WW1 Medal Silver Memorial Cross in original case McFADDEN” is in sale since Friday, June 19, 2020. This item is in the category “Collectables\Militaria\1976-1981″.
