Included in the group is: his USMC Good Conduct Medal, not engraved but stamped No. 62571, with the original Good Conduct Medal Award Certificate to Smith awarding him that medal, the medal in excellent bright crisp condition; his World War I Victory Medal, proper USMC short ribbon. In excellent bright crisp condition; a pair of his USMC dog tags, stamped’John M. Smith 10-17-18, USMC;’ a photo of Smith from a cut down RPPC; a trenched WW1 enlisted cap plate with the proper thumb screw; a single WW1 collar disk; 1 uniform button and some copies of USMC Muster lists showing Smith attached to the 187th Company.
