Thomas Norcliffe enlisted for service on the 3rd November 1905, allotted to the 11th Hussars. He was transferred to the 3rd Hussars on the 26th March 1918. Transferred to the Iniskilling Fusiliers 30th September 1921. Married to Ellen Parfoot and looked after 3 children, two o which were illegitimate. Lived in Wakefiled, Yorkshire.
