T his is a BEAUTIFUL example of the Order of the Golden Kite 5th Class Medal. Awarded for distinguished military service; abolished in 1946. The enamels and gilt look great. There may be some wear, but I can find none. Sorry that my camera cannot capture it well. All four reverse rivets are intact. VERY HARD TO UPGRADE THIS ONE! Original lacquered wood case of issue, but it has some wear. PLEASE CHECK PHOTOS FOR CONDITION! Wear and tear evident. Check out Dai Nippon Military Antiques medal website!
