Inc his role as Honorary Fire Observer. All UK war-time air-raid fires. To assist the Regional Technical Intelligence Dept. And is accompanied by his World War Two Defence medal. The interior lining is stamped for. Helmets Ltd for Wheathampstead. Colour of dark olive green-brown paint finish is to almost 100%. As is the twin red painted rank bars around the shell. Liner & chinstrap are also in superb order. And with its original liner lace. The underside of the helmet shell is stamped. In the rear of the inner rim is painted his service number.
