This empire lasted from 1932 to 1945, so medals from here are quite desirable and scarce. This is the Manchukuo Order of the Auspicious Clouds 7th Class Medal. These were gilt in gold, but as is so often the case, the gilt has mostly faded. You can see traces on the obverse and the gilt is a bit clearer on the reverse, but most is gone. Hallmarked’M’ on suspension knob, which indicates a Japan Mint manufacture. Original lacquered wood case, but it has some nicks and wear. Wear and tear evident. PLEASE CHECK PHOTOS FOR CONDITION!
