Offered is a Full sized Replica set of court mounted medals for Second World War service. Medals include the following awards: 1939-45 Star, The Pacific Star, 1939-45 War Medal & 1939-45 Australian Service Medal. Medals come court mounted onto a pin back bracket and thick backing. These can be worn on commemorative occassions or mounted in a frame for display. We make these medals ourselves from the cast of an original issue medal, retaining realistic and good features to each medal. Medals are made from a light metal alloy, with the campaign stars brass plated, with a toned finish and the service medals being silver plated. We don’t compete for price – we compete at quality. WW2 Medal Grouping To Combat Engineer Commander In The Pacific. Condition is as seen in photos. Outstanding grouping to Victor O Wilson who was an Oklahoma native. He was a career combat engineer. Serving extensively in the pacific theater. He was a combat engineer commander in the field. He would serve with the 44th combat engineer battalion or otherwise known as the heart breakers. They saw extensive service in Korea as well especially in their roll at the frozen chosin. He would serve all the way until vietnam war and retire as a full bird Col. This grouping includes everything seen in the photos. The full wrap Lom is engraved the other is not. He also earned a BSM. The group also has many personal components of his family along with alot from his military career. Very nice addition to any collection. Don’t miss out on this great piece. A correctly named post WW2 in very small lettering, Pacific Star group of 4 named to NX39592 Herbert James Grey, who first saw overseas service in Palestine early in the war… Not entitled to the Africa Star as they were not west of the Suez canal. Was sent back to help with the Defence of Java, however was captured by the Japanese army. Died in Singapore prison (Changi) late in the war. Comes with much original paper work showing medal entitlement, box of issue to his sister and much more.
