World War Medals

Rare Romanian medal bar, encompassing service as Medical Personnel from the Turkish War of 1877 though World War 1, and service both in war and as a civilian. All ribbons are original and show soiling and wear. All of the medals show heavy tarnish and contact marks as well darkening where the enamel meets the metal borders. (1) Order of the Star of Romania, knight with crossed swords; heavy soiling to ribbon. The medal is missing the blue enamel from the circle around the eagle as well as from the tip on the end of the cross. (2) Order of the Crown of Romania, knight with crossed swords; the ribbon shows frays and breaks. There is white enamel missing from the circle around the crown on the face and the the reverse. (3) Order of the Crown of Romania, knight; There are some cracks in the white enamel of the cross border, and the ENTIRE CENTRAL DISK IS MISSING FROM THE REVERSE Visible in the overall photo and in the close up.
