3x Pre WW2 New York Long Service Medal Documents Naval Militia Very Rare pair of 20 year and 10 year long and 15 year. Service documents very very rare and hard to find the original documents im not sure why i guess soldiers just didnt keep them. Even rarer due to the fact they are to a naval militia man which would have had very few men in it compared to other services. The documents are very nice but show minor wear and one has some minor roughness at the top! Both were awarded to Yeoman Harold J Searchfield. If you have the medals that match these these would add a ton of value to the medals! Dont miss your chance to own an extremely rare set of documents! Boer War Queens Mediterranean Medal to Private J Burns, who served with the 3rd (Militia) Battalion of the West Yorkshire Regiment. Queen’s Mediterranean Medal measures 36mm wide and is a circular silver medal with claw swivel ribbon bar suspension, the face with the veiled crowned head and shoulders portrait of Queen Victoria facing left, circumscribed VICTORIA REGINA ET IMPERATRIX (Victoria Queen and Empress), signed G. De Saulles, with the word MEDITERRANEAN scrolled to the right hand inside rim; attributed on the edge to 5273 PTE J. YORK: REGT: on correct ribbon. 855 medals were awarded to the battalion for service. Relating to Pte N Grigg. Fitting : All Mounted on a Medal Bar. Condition : Medals : Fine Plus uncleaned condition with scratches. Militia RMP Medal has long scratches on the middle on both sides. Medal Ribbons : Faded and probably need replaced. Medal Holder bar is dull coloured and probably needs replaced. No scanned owing to personal details. Has been folded in four and then in the centre again leaving a large hole in the centre of the first folded in four. However good clear details. Good collectable condition with Photograph inside. All the following items probably relate to the wider family circle however further research is needed. Fitting : Not mounted on a Medal Bar but stitched together. Condition : Very Fine Plus condition. Lightly toned with No Major Defects Seen. Cover : Very Strong Damp Smell. Has very heavy wear on the edges and is in poor condition but at least it still is present. This is a good collection of Medals and related papers for the collector of Royal Military Police.
