Only 2490 of these were issued for great contribution by allies to the war effort, including the United States and Canada. We are offering an exceptionally rare medal and even rarer FULL set of this WW2 distinguished award for allies in the cause of Freedom. Set includes full size, miniature, Royal Spinks mounting bar, undress ribbon and 2 small ribbon remnants. There is not another full set that I have found listed in my search. The medals are well used and worn, but unattributed. The full size medal has a silver suspension ring, which is not the original and appears much smaller. The ribbon has been replaced, with an original clip in the reverse. Used and see pictures for details and grading. Our product lines extend across many historical, vintage and ancient categories. We try to sell an experience in our products. Pictures tell the best story as there is a variety of wear and tear and scratches that occur across the generations. This “cultural patina” often adds value to the item from a personal appeal or resale value. Antiquities are an investment in the now and for the future and calibrate our being as a culture, civilization and humanity. Each relic is of the highest quality, sourced from ethical artisans/vendors from the origin area to maintain historical integrity. We are not experts in all areas and fields, but try very hard to ensure our items are authentic. Please let us know if there is ANY concern about any of our listings. Embracing antiquities of the past help drive our future. Again, we want you to have an amazing FIVE STAR experience with us! Anything less than that, we would love to know to help improve our process. The mandatory stuff small print. Postings and descriptions should meet AODA disability requirements for fonts and colours. Title: Imperial German Schutzen Kings chain for shooting. Description: Incredible complete Kings shooting chain. Silver coins and stamped, with owners/winners name and other engravings! Named to Jakob Honold, 1930 Gg. Coins span 1800′s-1900′s. Condition: Great condition, please refer to photos for further condition report or ask questions or for more pictures! I cannot photograph everything. Approx Measurements: 487 Grams. Like most, I picked up the collecting bug many years ago when I was younger rummaging through the nooks and crannies of my grandparent’s summer house in upstate New York. Today, you can still see me doing the same thing, only I don’t fit through much of those spots anymore but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying the thrill of the hunt. Since I know you have the same eclectic tastes as I do because your reading this, please checkout my other items section as I always have new unusual stuff coming in! It is my believe that the condition of an item is subjective, so I encourage you to look over each photo for your own condition assessment and when needed, inquire about additional photos or information regarding any of my items. As with any vintage item, there is expected to be some general signs of use and wear; if there is no mention that an item is New or Mint, you should expect this to be the case. I try my best to accurately. Thanks for viewing and making it down this far! R conspicuous gallantry in action at Pere P. On 6th September 1918. While his company was advancing under heavy fire he reported that the enemy were dismounting a machine gun. The order was given to charge and he was the first to go. The Company charged about twenty yards until stopped by the enemy covering party to the gun who jumped up and fired at point blank range. This man did not take cover with the rest of his party but with great coolness stood up and shot an enemy askari, and then running forward to an ant-hill ten yards away from which fire was coming, killed two native enemy NCO’s thus setting a fine example to the men of his Company and helping the advance against and defeat of two enemy Companies.
