IMO Very fine condition plus, British War and Victory Medals official impressed name 46371 Cpl. ; 1939-45 Star; Africa Star; France and Germany Star; Defence and War Medals 1939-45; Efficiency Decoration, G. 1st issue, Territorial, reverse officially dated 1943, with integral top riband bar; Special Constabulary Long Service Medal, G. 2nd issue “Cecil Hooper” very fine and better Cecil Hooper attested for the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment and served with the Machine Gun Corps during the Great War on the Western Front. He was commissioned Second Lieutenant in the Tank Corps towards the end of the War, before transferring to the Royal Artillery (Territorial Force). He was promoted Captain on 24 August 1939, and was awarded his Efficiency Decoration in 1943 (London Gazette 25 March 1943).
