The full size silver medal is on a short length of original ribbon. Captain Harker served with the 8th Battalion Hampshire Regiment. He was appointed Captain as of 9th August 1917. He relinquished his commission on account of ill health caused by wounds on 18th April 1919 and retained the rank of Captain. Announced in the London Gazette 15th April 1919. Copies of Gazette entries with the medal. Very good age toned condition and with scope for further research.
