World War Medals

An original WW1 Turkish Halbmond Cross (Gallipoli Star) awarded to German soldiers who served with the Turks during World War 1. Created in 1915 and awarded for Military Merit – an entry level galantry medal. The medal is approximately 56mm accross, with balls finials, raised silver wash surround (some wear & tear to this) with red enamel infill. It has a raised crescent, open at the top which encirlces the centre of the badge. Inside the centre of the badge is the tughra of Sultan Mehmed Reshad V over the date “1313″ (1915). The cross is in excellent condition with all the enamel complete no chips etc. All items are sent with a certificate of posting. This covers both parties up to GBP 20.00.
