100% GENUINE FULL SIZE & CORRECTLY NAMED. GVR 1st type WW1 Military Medal (MM). The recipient was awarded his MM for services in France with the 9th battalion Seaforth Highlanders in the London gazette 16-8-1917 & had already been mentioned in despatches for services in France in the London gazette 13-6-1916. He sadly died of wounds in France & Flanders 18-1-1918 still serving with the 9th battalion. He was born in Catrine, Ayrshire & Enlisted in Glasgow, Lanark.
