IMPERIAL GERMAN 7-PLACE MEDAL BAR/GROUP. A very fine World War I or 1920s/1930s mounted 7-place medal bar/group. Period correct, with all medals fitting very snug and tight in the unmarked mount. The medals displayed on this mount are as follows. 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class. 1914 Brunswick Ernst August Cross of Military Merit – 2nd class with sword and emblem. Brunswick Order of Henry the Lion – Silver. Prussian Royal Order of the Crown. Prussian Civil Merit Cross – Silver. Prussian Landwehr Long Service Medal – 2nd class. All medals are in excellent condition and mounted on bifold ribbons. All ribbons display bright colors throughout, with little to no wear anywhere. Rare German Veterans Association stickpin produced after WW1 to honor the men who served on the frontlines of the war. Some spiral work on stick portion to grip the fabric or material to which it was inserted. DRGM on reverse is “Deutsches Reichs Gebrauchs Muster”.
