All are mounted on fairly elaborate chain with a pin at one end and a button-hole tab on the other. The button hole tab is hallmarked Gebr. This medal chain is in beautiful condition with no damage to any of the medals. The enamel on the Observer Badge is intact and the silver retains a nice shine. The gilt on the Mecklenburg-Schwerin badge is in excellent condition. The rims of the iron cross show a little tarnish but still shine, and the paint in the center is intact. Overall just a stunning set of miniature medals to a decorated Prussian airman from WW1. I’m in the process of liquidating a 50 year old collection and I can say that I’ve had this badge in my collection for well over 25 years. Lets have some fun!
